Therapy for Teens and Young Adults
The teen and young adult years can bring anxiety, mood concerns, big emotions, school pressure, relationship changes, early-career stress, and difficult transitions. I work with teens, emerging adults, young adults, and adults in their 20s and 30s who are looking for a thoughtful, active therapy relationship. Adults and older adults are also welcome.
Support for young people and families
I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and ERP when appropriate. Care is shaped around a person’s age, concerns, strengths, and goals. Individual, couples, and family therapy are available. Children may be seen virtually when appropriate. When I work with children or teens, caregiver involvement is included as appropriate while making room for the young person’s privacy and developmental needs.
Starting the conversation
I am accepting new clients for telehealth in California and New York. Clients must be physically located in California or New York during sessions. Individual sessions are 50 minutes and currently range from $250–$350; sliding scale may be available when appropriate. I do not accept or bill insurance directly. I can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement; eligibility depends on your plan and reimbursement is not guaranteed. A free 15-minute consultation call is available.
